I’ll focus on Bratislava for now as I think this is one of the most underrated cities. Language may have been quite a challenge starting from the Airport getting directions to the hotel but the kindness, generosity and willingness to help warmed my heart! They let me use their mobile phones to call the hotel and pointed me at the right direction. It may be nothing to them but it was everything to someone like me. A neophyte in Europe. Yes! You see, it was my first time in European country!
Best place to stay
For their world class customer service, I’d say, Chopin Hotel. I love the staff! Always willing to do the extra mile.
Best way to get around
On foot! It’s a small city. You can basically walk your way around. Public transportations like buses are so convenient too.
Anything you wish you knew before hand?
At this place, none. Nothing beats the elements of surprise.
What advice can you pass along?
Slow down! Turn at every corner there is and talk to street vendors, shop owners or staff, smile to fellow travelers. It gets a long way!
